ANIMAL MEDICAL CENTER
The Animal Medical Center is the world's largest teaching hospital for small animals and has been a leading center for veterinary medicine since its founding in 1910.
The AMC relied on JLGA to implement the latest innovations in medical science and technology in their facilities. Projects completed by JLGA at the AMC include patient clinic areas, animal wards, doctors’ offices, a surgical suite consisting of a prep area, five operating rooms, a sterilization area, recovery room, dentistry and special procedures room, a new ICU ward, and a radiology department.
JLGA also designed a new oncology ward housing the first MRI specifically designed for veterinary use, a CT scanner, prep area and an I-131 treatment room.
